What should I set?

Say what the light is doing and how you want the picture to look. The ISO and the shutter speed are what is left over.

ISO
100
Shutter
1/500
Aperture
f/5.6

More light than f/5.6 needs at ISO 100, where this starts until you name a camera. The surplus goes into the shutter: 1/500, 2 2/3 stops faster than it had to be. Close down if you would rather have the depth of field.

50mm on an X body behaves like 75mm, so hands alone want 1/80.

Your camera

Set your body in the masthead and the ISO stays inside what it will actually give you, and this says whether the ISO you have landed on has greyed DR400 out in the menu.

Every pair is the same amount of light at ISO 100. What changes is how much is in focus and how much of the movement you keep.
